each extra character costs ~50% of the base price if adding 1-2 extra characters, or ~25% of the base price if adding 3 or more

colored commissions come with a simple pattern background, or a detailed background for ~25% of the base price

i can turn down any commission request for any reason.

i retain copyright over my artwork.

i deserve proper credit for my artwork any time it is shared online, and the agency to know when and where it is being shared.

i will not claim the intellectual property of any trademarked or original character that is not my own.

i will not post commission work online without the customer's permission, and posted commissions will contain a watermark.

i will not resell or reprint any commission work for commercial use.

i will not accept a full payment without the promise of a finished product.

you can download the completed artwork for personal, non-profit use. (ex. using as a screen wallpaper, printing out for decoration, etc.)

you can repost the work on a personal account, or use the completed artwork as a profile picture or header on social media, only if proper credit is given while doing so.

you can make minor edits to the artwork. (ex. cropping, adding filters, altering background if transparent, coloring in lineart) again, you must give credit if posted publicly.

you cannot trace, copy, or claim the artwork as your own.

you cannot remove or alter my signature in any way.

you cannot make any significant alterations to the artwork without permission. (drastic color changes, ai generation, etc.)

you cannot reprint the artwork for commercial use (prints, stickers, etc.) unless initially discussed.

all payments will be made through paypal. if you do not have a working paypal account, let me know and we can discuss an alternative. i am not accepting eChecks at this time.

to start the commission process, message me directly through tumblr (@viviraptor-art), or email ([email protected]). it's recommended that you use the form section of this carrd as a guideline for your request.

after i have accepted the commission, i will create an initial sketch and send it to you for feedback. when the sketch has been approved, i will send you a paypal invoice and you must pay full price for the commission before the process is to continue.

once i have recieved your payment, i will begin the completion of your commission. you may ask for updates and progress images at any time. you can also keep up-to-date on your commission's progress through my trello board, linked in the form section.

as soon as the commission is done, it will be sent to you through tumblr messaging or email (or another service, if preferred).

i may ask for permission to post the work on social media and/or use it for future self-promotions. you can decide whether this is okay with you.

the time from initial sketch to completed work is estimated to be around 2-6 weeks, but may vary greatly depending on my own availability. you will be notified if a life event is slowing down the process. if you'd like your commission done by a certain deadline, let me know in your initial request so i can plan accordingly.

under normal circumstances, refunds will not be accepted after i have started working on a piece well past its initial sketch.

however, if an emergency or unexpected life event causes me to halt commission work indefinitely, you will be given a full or 50% refund, depending on how far into completion the commission was at the time. i can also send you the piece in its unfinished stage if asked for.

if a completed commission is not to your liking in any way, you can request an alteration. depending on the complexity of the alteration, you may be asked to pay an additional fee.

i reserve the right to decline an alteration request, especially if it directly contradicts what was initially asked for. (ex. paying for artwork of a dog, then requesting it be altered into a cat.)
